Disorderly Conduct

Generally a misdemeanor crime, disorderly conduct has also been termed "disturbing the peace." Loud and unseemly noises disturbing the peace of a neighborhood, a meeting or religious worship are the most common examples of disorderly conduct. However, many states have broadened the definition to include offensive conduct such as exposure of genitals, fighting in public, making offensive gestures, creating noxious odors in a public place, begging and public drunkenness.
