Enforcement
The EEOC, a federal agency, receives complaints of civil rights discrimination in the workplace. The EEOC investigates employers and can assess penalties if discrimination is found.
TIP: More information about the EEOC is available at www.eeoc.gov. Additionally, all major metropolitan areas have a local EEOC office that can provide information.

- Equal Pay Act of 1963
- Age Discrimination in Employment Act of 1967 (ADEA)
